Scholarships

Dear Scholarship Candidate,

As most of you know, the planning committee of the Early Childhood Methodist Conference established the Ella Hawes Scholarship many years ago.  This scholarship is for Early Childhood continuing education in memory of Ella Hawes, who was a pioneer in developmentally appropriate early childhood programs.  Ella was serving as director of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church Day School at the time of her death.

Scholarships will be awarded each year to eligible recipients who are seeking continuing education in the early childhood field.  Candidates must be employed in a licensed United Methodist preschool and have a minimum of three years total experience.  Please see all requirements on the application.

The deadline for submitting your application is December 4,2020.

If I can be of further assistance to you, please email me at cdcdirector@hckaty.org

Sincerely,

Jodi Carroll
